Hi you all out there,

first of all: sorry for my terrible english .

can someone tell me, what vst-plugins i need to get such wonderful synths like in "all i need is you" or in "heartbeat" or in "where you are"?
and next question:
atb uses such wonderful pads like in "moving backwards". i`ve got a phantom x synthesizer and komplete 7 plug-in collection from native instruments, but there are no pads and synths, that sounds similar to the synths and pads in these songs.

can someone help me? thanks!

don\'t know which sound you have got in your head, but try some mastering plugins like equalizer and limiter. Read about compression and side chaining to begin with. Don\'t try to get a killer sound from vst.They just kill the power of your cpu. Try to realize your ideas and have fun.That\'s all. Good luck.

If you\\\'re looking for a synth preset that is ready to "load and play" then good luck!

It is more complicated than that, usually professional artists/producers program their own synth sounds, they also use reinforcement (2 or 3 different synths playing the same notes) and also chords to get that hot sound.

Concerning the "PADS" try refx nexus which has really an excellent pads sound similar to the ones on atb\\\'s songs and it has also a wide variety of sounds alsmost all dedicated to trance music, plus it is expendable.

Google TOP 10 VSTi\'s

I use

Nexus,
Sylengh
Vstation
Vanguard

And many more.... the biggest producers on the scenes ..use all these also...such as Armin V B

Lots of sounds i hear ATB use are from NEXUS

I will add, as the other have, mixing, EQ and the processing to add to these instruments will really make a difference, im not sure which DAW ATB is using,, but its enginnering is amazing,,, bright,, airy..and very well mixed
