Still requires lots & lots of work. Needs better structure, development, bridge, variations, etc... You using Am & G... honestly requires more. Try adding as a bridge for example F Dm Amx2 You can also customize bass while playing Am & G For example Am Am/F G G/E Well, these are basics of course... but will make your composition sound more 'attractive'
