Three things made this show awesome. First was the small venue. Heat Ultra Lounge had a tiny dance floor and it was packed. Although a lack of dancing space is always a bit of a downer, the venue was awesome because it made the show feel like a private concert. It was like ATB was performing for you and your 100 closest friends (there were probably more people then that in reality but you know what I mean). I got to stand right by the stage entrance/exit and had an unobstructed view of ATB the whole time. I also got to go right up the edge of the stage and touch his hand twice!
Second was the awesome crowd. It was obvious that everyone knew ATB and his songs. Everytime there were lyrics you could hear everyone singing along. It was awesome. The singing made Ecstasy (the song he opened with) extra epic.
Lastly, ATB's stage presence was fantastic. He moved around and danced. I loved when he would put his thumbs up to the crowd because he liked what we were doing. He also picked the perfect times to pause the music so we could hear how loud we were being.
After he had exited the stage, I waited around with another girl and Kristina Sky (who opened for ATB and was awesome as well) asked him to come back out to take pictures with us! Now I have a photo to commemorate a night I never want to forget. I can't wait to see ATB again.
